Recentemente, a nível global, a pandemia COVID19 teve um impacto tanto na vida das pessoas como nas empresas. Isto tem vindo a devastar as economias, deixando todo o sector completamente destruído. Thierry Breton, comissário europeu dos mercados do interior, salienta que as companhias aéreas podem sofrer até 90% de queda na sua actividade. Na sequência destas discussões, algumas das medidas apresentadas, que visam recuperar a confiança dos consumidores das viagens aéreas, irão proporcionar-lhes segurança. Entre as diferentes medidas consideradas neste trabalho, propomos explorar a implementação da Certificação das infra-estruturas aeronáuticas, a oferta de um Kit de Confinamento individual (gel desinfectante, bata de protecção, máscara reutilizável, luvas...), a desinfecção dos espaços antes e depois de cada voo e o uso obrigatório de protecções, bem como a passagem dos consumidores dos serviços aeronáuticos e da sua bagagem através de cápsulas de desinfecção à entrada e à saída da aeronave. Com o estabelecimento destas medidas, espera-se um regresso gradual à normalidade nesta área fundamental da economia e, em particular, do Turismo.
