Tourism and gender: an essential approach in a context of sustainable and responsible tourism development - 7 key issues

Abstract

I would like to thank the invitation to the II International Forum: women and tourism, a mina voz! In particular, I would like to congratulate the organisers who, with a lot of effort, made it possible for all of us to come together to discuss this fundamental topic, the one I am passionate about. The reflections that I will share below come from my experience as a consultant and researcher in tourism from a gender perspective for almost 13 years, and in various contexts and work teams.
