Resumen

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo investigar cómo la gobernanza territorial puede inducir el desarrollo sostenible, teniendo en cuenta el reto del crecimiento inteligente y la creación de empleo duradero, la descarbonización de la economía y la valoración turística de los activos intangibles incrustados en un determinado territorio. Analizando casos regionales de gestión sostenible (la ruta del vino del Tajo y el aprovechamiento hidrográfico del valle del río Sorraia), mediante revisión bibliográfica y observación directa, argumentamos que las instituciones ibéricas de educación en asociación con los polos científicos y tecnológicos desempeñan un papel estratégico para fomentar el progreso del conocimiento científico sobre soluciones eficaces contra el cambio climático, incluyendo el conjunto de los sectores de actividad económica. Además, esas instituciones también son cruciales para difundir técnicas de producción más respetuosas con el medio ambiente por parte de las empresas (especialmente en las microempresas y pequeñas empresas) y las organizaciones de la economía social. El punto principal es que sólo un proceso transparente de negociación abierto a todas las partes interesadas - a través de la creatividad, el espíritu empresarial, el espíritu de ciudadanía y la solidaridad intergeneracional - puede conducir a la maximización de la calidad de vida de las personas que viven en esta parte del territorio ibérico.
