ABSTRACT
Motor function is present from conception and throughout life, is the fundamental manifestation of the development of man and enables the relationship with the world and others. Psychomotricity thus assumes an important role, since it aims to work the individual with his entire life history (Caron, 2010). Decree-Law 281/2009 considers Early Intervention in Childhood as the set of integrated support measures centered on children and families, including preventive and rehabilitative actions in the field of education, health and social action. This case study focuses on a child with autism spectrum disorder and sought to ascertain the contributions of a Psychomotricity program implemented in kindergarten. The main results observed in two evaluation moments (before and after the implementation of the program) revealed differences in concentration, communication and inappropriate behaviors.
