ABSTRACT
The first results of multicentre research are presented between the Argentine Business School (EAN) and the Autonomous University of Encarnación (UNAE), which aims to study the conditions of commercial establishments of various fields, to identify the base of common essential competences between them and design a compatibility matrix that will serve as a basis for the development of public and private interventions in the formation of commercial conglomerates. The survey carried out in the last quarter of 2016, through a survey applied to a sampling by conglomerates, allows describing an entrepreneurial profile of the retail merchant of Encarnación, which presents itself with little affection for alliances with other businesses. The practice comes from the own effort for growth and from some alliances and / or agreements that occur with businesses in the same branch of activity and in a transitory time.
