This scientific article is subordinated to the theme: Impact of uncontrolled fires for the community of the Administrative Post of Messica reflects on the impacts of uncontrolled fires for the environment. A qualitative, descriptive approach was used, using observation and the questionnaire, it was found that the population of the community of the administrative post of Messica practices burning for the practice of agriculture, hunting and other activities such as the case of coal production and the expansion of construction areas. This practice contributes to the extinction of forest and faunal species, associated with natural factors. Thus, it becomes imperative to promote actions and/or awareness campaigns among the population, preventing this evil from gaining disastrous proportions.
