Procedimentos e isenções na cobrança do donativo do dote e paz na capitania da Bahia (1661-1725)

Abstract

This article discusses some central points of our dissertation, about the collection of the donative of the dowry of the Queen of Great Britain and peace with Holland, in the captaincy of Bahia. We analyze the collecting procedures and the negotiations which resulted from this dynamic. The work sees the colonial space in relationship with the Portuguese empire and modern Europe.
