Abstract

The article comprehensively addresses the lack of understanding among young people about contemporary dilemmas in the face of ongoing social, economic, and political changes. This work was carried out by a group of future professors from the biological sciences area involved in a project with students from a public school. Based on the idea of transformation in the contexts of school institutions and on the importance of requiring interdisciplinary efforts, the group, under the guidance of a university researcher, opted for the premises of action research as a guideline to guide the actions undertaken among the youth of the university. school. The results indicate positive influences on the initial teacher training in regard to obtaining a better practice in the classroom, taking as a factor the process of reflection-action-reflection provided by the activities performed there.
