Abstract

This article focuses on digital competences required to produce and share Open Educational Resources. It highlights how these competences were developed during a Small Open Online Course focusing on Open Educational Resources. The general objective of the course was to know the OER to integrate in the practices and the didactic materials. Participants were Brazilian high school teachers from public networks in the central region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Data were collected through a questionnaire to evaluate the course, follow up and analyse the activities developed by the participants during the course. The results indicate to restrictions of Copyright and innovation caused by the conceptions of openness in the production of didactic material. It is concluded that the difficulties faced by teachers in revise, remix, production original REA and redistribute in open networks can be minimized with the improvement of digital competences and with the continuity of the realization of the 5Rs of OER opening.
