Abstract

This work deals with the contribution of the Comenius Game to media literacy in initial teacher training, based on a teaching internship carried out at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, in the Pedagogy course, and is part of a dissertation. The data was generated from forums created in the Virtual Teaching and Learning Environment and records in the researcher's field diary, about the students' experience with the different formats and genres of the Comenius Game during a course, in the semester of 2022.1. The results draw attention to the media literacy process developed by the students through the games, so that there was engagement and appropriation of the contents, as well as their contribution to the Games and the formative proposal of the course, configuring a significant exchange in this teaching and learning process.
