Abstract

This article addresses the application of WebQuest as a digital inclusion strategy in Youth and Adult Education, based on some results of applied research that is located in the field of research on school-based Youth and Adult Education. The main objective is to reflect on the potential of WebQuest as a didactic resource that can promote new learning and facilitate digital inclusion in EJA. This study is especially relevant given the challenges of contemporary digital culture, new working relationships and the unprecedented experience with “emergency remote teaching”. In this research, the approach adopted was qualitative, with an exploratory purpose. The main procedure was application research in education, which aimed to plan, develop, apply and evaluate a digital pedagogical resource. The process involved the creation of a Pedagogical Intervention Project, including the development of a WebQuest on Sexually Transmitted Infections with structured activities, aimed at encouraging the critical and creative use of digital technologies by students. The results indicated that the use of WebQuest contributed significantly to student motivation and the development of digital skills, in addition to facilitating the integration of students into digital culture, promoting a more inclusive and interactive environment at EJA.
