Disruptive technological innovations and their introduction into the classroom have always been met with apprehension, as they radically transform not only learning but also teaching. Teaching and learning in the age of artificial intelligence raises many concerns, whether about writing skills, the concept of intelligence, the accuracy of the content and sources referred to by AI, or even the concept of plagiarism. It is for all these reasons that the introduction of AI must be legally well regulated. However, it is by trying out certain artificial intelligence tools that we will move forward. This is what I propose to do by introducing you to the DeepFLE platform, created by a team of researchers at the University of Nice and designed to facilitate the assessment of texts written in French.
