Introduction: The practice of Child Health and Pediatric Nursing requires awareness regarding the involvement of parents in the care provided to the child, developing a partnership process and broadly integrating the family. The philosophy of family-centered care turns into the cornerstone of pediatric care.
Objective/s: Identify in the literature the interventions of Child Health and Pediatric Nurses in promoting care partnership.
Methods: Integrative Review, carried out in July 2022, in the databases: CINAHL Complete, MEDLINE Complete, Nursing & Allied Health Collection: Comprehensive, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials and MedicLatina, and in accordance with the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute for carrying out of literature reviews.
Results: Sample composed of 12 articles. It was possible to identify particularities in the implementation of the care partnership with potential improvements regarding negotiation, communication, role establishment, parental training and barriers to the partnership.
Conclusion: There is a clear need for investment in training on this topic, as well as guidelines for its implementation.
