An educational proposal for the Santarém Municipality is presented, resulting from two research / curricular development projects of ESE-IPSantarém - the IMAGinE project and the EducARTE Project. This proposal aims to add to the Santarém educational plan for the next years, through a line of action focused on the promotion of educational success for all children through Aesthetic and Artistic Education and their integration into the real curricula, in formal and non-formal contexts. It is also partly based on evaluations of the experience of the original educARTE Project (which gives the name of the present proposal) and aims at experimenting, studying and implementing a curricular integration model of Artistic Education (2015-2019 project, still in progress in the municipality of Abrantes). This proposal is based on three levels of argumentation, which relate to: - regional, national and international framework documents; - elements of the educational reality observed in the Municipality of Santarém; - pedagogical-scientific and curricular knowledge.
