A implementação da telemedicina no mundo: A perspetiva dos profissionais de saúde

Resumo

Objetivo – O objetivo deste estudo é fazer uma revisão sistemática da literatura para compreender as barreiras à implementação da Telemedicina no Mundo sob a perspetiva dos profissionais de saúde. Métodos - Este é um estudo de revisão sistemática de escopo. A pesquisa da literatura foi realizada utilizando as bases de dados PubMed, SciELO, ScienceDirect e Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews apenas com o filtro de data de publicação (últimos 10 anos). Na estratégia de pesquisa foram utilizados MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) Terms e as palavras-chave adequadas. Resultados – Para esta análise consideraram-se 8 estudos que cumpriram todos os critérios de inclusão. Foi possível analisar registos de países do continente europeu, africano, asiático e americano. Das barreiras à implementação da telemedicina encontradas destacam-se a familiaridade com o conceito, a relação terapêutica, os aspetos financeiros da aquisição da tecnologia, a segurança e proteção dos dados pessoais, a cultura e o contexto geográfico das populações. Conclusão - A implementação da telemedicina depende, em larga escala, da disponibilidade económica para o acesso às tecnologias e da formação dos profissionais de saúde. Deve ser feito um forte investimento na formação de todos os stakeholders para que posteriormente os contextos organizacionais sejam adaptados às competências e à intenção dos profissionais em utilizar esta ferramenta para a prestação dos cuidados de saúde.
