Prison education in Brazil
Abstract
Education helps and enables the attainment of the central objectives of rehabilitation that focus on social rescue and liberating education in a dimension of autonomy, sustainability and minimization of social discrimination. The relevance of prison education as a tool for resocialization and skill development and education is notorious in helping prisoners rebuild a better future during and after the sentence is served.
