Abstract

The evolutionary dimension of family sense throughout history is analyzed, in the light of the interpretative premises of the concepts of closed and open society, elaborated by Karl Popper. It addresses the legislative diplomas that preceded the democratic transition of the family operated by the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988. It investigates the challenges that the recognition of new family configurations impose on the democratization of the family on the national scene.
