The Role of European Integration in the Development of Legal Awareness of the Ukrainian Society

Resumo

Este artigo trata do papel da integração europeia na formação da consciência jurídica na Ucrânia. É realçada a sua importância tendo em conta as actuais mudanças geopolíticas. O objetivo da investigação foi estudar o impacto da integração europeia na perceção da soberania, da independência e dos processos de adesão à UE e à NATO. Para o efeito, foi aplicada uma abordagem metodológica mista. Foram utilizadas entrevistas qualitativas e inquéritos para avaliar a opinião pública e a consciência jurídica entre vários grupos demográficos. Os dados revelaram diferentes pontos de vista sobre a soberania. Muitos inquiridos queriam laços mais estreitos com a UE e a NATO, mas expressaram sentimentos complexos sobre adversários e aliados históricos. O estudo também revelou um aumento da sensibilização para os direitos humanos, reflectindo a ênfase da UE nestes princípios. Os resultados mostram que a integração europeia afecta a cultura jurídica e a consciência política. Contribui para uma compreensão mais profunda das normas jurídicas e da responsabilidade civil. A transformação sublinha a importância da interação com as normas jurídicas europeias. A investigação futura deve centrar-se na análise da evolução da consciência jurídica e na comparação dos processos com outros Estados pós-soviéticos.
