Resumo

A Online Travel Agent (OTA) é uma empresa em linha de arranque que serve a compra de bilhetes, reservas de quartos de hotel, e compra de bilhetes para atracções turísticas. Uma das muitas empresas OTA que colaboram com os fornecedores de alojamento é a Traveloka. Balkondes Sakapitu utilizou a OTA, neste caso, a Traveloka como parceiro na venda dos seus produtos sob a forma de quartos. Este estudo visa analisar o papel da OTA no aumento da ocupação de quartos em Balkondes Sakapitu. Esta investigação é qualitativa com um estudo de caso de concepção de investigação. Este estudo indica que a OTA desempenha um papel essencial no aumento da ocupação de salas em Balkondes Sakapitu. O aumento da ocupação de quartos é medido pelo número de níveis de reservas online através da Traveloka no prazo de três meses, de Outubro a Dezembro de 2020. O papel do aumento da ocupação dos quartos, a utilização da OTA neste caso Traveloka inclui: mostrar a posição ou posição do hotel com base em análises dos hóspedes e um fórum para promoção e vendas. Há vantagens e desvantagens em utilizar Traveloka para Balkondes Sakapitu. Estas vantagens incluem a eficiência do pessoal de marketing, poupança de custos operacionais, facilidade de alteração de preços, e relatórios de dados estatísticos. Embora os inconvenientes: a diferença nos preços de venda, o longo tempo de pagamento, e a necessidade de RH qualificado. A força desta pesquisa, quando comparada com pesquisas anteriores, é que este estudo revela o padrão de cooperação entre o hotel e a OTA, e discute a distribuição de montantes de comissões que em estudos anteriores não foram discutidos.
