Neste artigo realiza-se uma análise descritiva das práticas de Responsabilidade Social existentes no Centro Social da Quinta do Anjo, Instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social do Concelho de Palmela.
Este trabalho resulta de um trabalho de campo desenvolvido com o objetivo de introduzir o conceito de Responsabilidade Social na instituição, promovendo a reflexão acerca da sua importância, enquanto potenciador de comportamentos éticos favoráveis à imagem da instituição. Com este estudo visa-se, igualmente, compreender qual a perceção atual dos colaboradores, nomeadamente as chefias intermédias com formação técnica, em relação às práticas de responsabilidade social existentes na organização. Como instrumento de pesquisa utilizou-se um questionário que aborda cinco áreas que devem ser consideradas pelas organizações no desenvolvimento da Responsabilidade Social das Organizações.
ABSTRACT
In this paper was performed a descriptive analysis of the Social Responsibility practices of the private institution of social solidarity of the municipality of Palmela (Portugal), called Social Center of Quinta do Anjo.
This work is the result of fieldwork done with the objective of to introduce the concept of Social Responsibility into the institution, promoting the reflection about its importance, as an enhancer of the ethical behavior favorable to the image of the institution. The aim of this study is also to understand the current perception of employees, namely intermediate managers with technical training, in relation to existing practices in the organization. As research technique, it was used a questionnaire, which addresses five areas of Social Responsibility that should be considered by organizations that want to improve their performance in that area.
