Abstract

A Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is an open course offered through virtual learning environments, Web 2.0 tools or social networks that aims to offer many stakeholders the possibility to expand their knowledge on a particular topic. They are an integral part of change, revolutionizing training, in educational institutions and in business. Our project presents a model for the construction of these courses, through good practices, that can be adopted by entities and at affordable costs, through platforms, technologies and technical development. The project adopts the eRaízes Redes (eRR) platform of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém as a support for development and its structure is exemplified in three separate pages in the eRR, all part of the MOOC JAVA Project, "JAVA Initiation Course", " Intermediate Course of JAVA "and the" Advanced Course of JAVA ".
