Abstract

Universities are historically known by being elitist and meritocratic institutions. However, in the 90’s, expansion policies in Brazilian higher education changed the students’ profile, making teachers qualification a pressing issue. This article reports the construction of a digital learning object conceived with the objective of promoting reflection about inclusion, contributing for a change in the way teachers perceive diversity and for a resignification of the teachers’ practice. It was developed initially with a focus in the inclusion of deaf students. The learning object, entitled Incluir, intends to conciliate technical and pedagogical aspects in order to materialize an interactionist, reflexive and problematizing methodology.
