This article explores the interdisciplinary possibilities between Literature and Physics based on the science fiction work The Castle of the Carpathians, by Jules Verne. The study proposes an interdisciplinary reading guide to facilitate the understanding of the work, highlighting its integration between literary and scientific elements, such as electricity and the technological innovations of the 19th century. The research, of a qualitative nature, was conducted with high school students, using questionnaires, mind maps, and field diaries. The results demonstrate that the reading guide contributed significantly to the organization of knowledge and the understanding of the scientific aspects of the work, in addition to promoting interdisciplinary connections. However, a limitation in the students' creativity was observed, suggesting the need for pedagogical approaches that balance conceptual structuring and personal expression. The study reinforces the importance of interdisciplinary strategies in teaching, highlighting the potential of science fiction as an educational tool.
