UM ESTUDO COM EGRESSAS DO CURSO DE PEDAGOGIA

Abstract

In general, each individual has in his professional identity a singularity, which was and is being built through particular experiences, but also from shared processes in life in society. Through this research, it became possible to see what led a group of graduates from a course in Pedagogy to choose this profession, as well as to analyze how they perceive the process of constitution of their professional identities. The research was conducted through interviews with five graduates of the Pedagogy course of a public, federal HEI. Regarding the results obtained with the research, the reasons that interfered in the choice for the course were the influence of family members and other significant people, the bond with the children, the interest in the area of ​​Education that was constituted during the life, as well as some characteristics of the intended course. In relation to their professional identities, it has been confirmed that they are built in the course of life, through social interactions and the knowledge with which they come into contact. Finally, based on the reports obtained with the interview and its analysis, it can be affirmed that the university - both in its possibilities and in its limits - provided elements for the constitution of these subjects as professionals.

Ivone Maria Mendes Silva Ivone, Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul/ Campus Erechim

É doutora em Psicologia pela USP (2013); Mestre em Educação pelo CEFET-MG (2008); Mestre em Ciências da Saúde pela UFMG (2008). Atualmente é professora adjunta na Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul (UFFS), Campus Erechim/RS, onde atua junto aos cursos de licenciatura e no Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde, área da Psicologia. É também professora permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação Interdisciplinar em Ciências Humanas e do Programa de Pós-Graduação Profissional em Educação. Atua principalmente nas áreas de psicologia e educação, desenvolvendo pesquisas interdisciplinares sobre os seguintes temas: processos identitários e de subjetivação, alteridade, direitos humanos, relações de gênero, sexualidade, violências, juventude, educação.

Lidiane Limana Puiati Pagliarin Lidiane, Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul/ Campus Erechim

Licenciada em Pedagogia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), mestre em Educação pela UFSM, doutoranda em Educação na Universidade de Passo Fundo (UPF). É membro do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Educação Superior (GEPES/UPF). Atualmente é professora de diversos cursos de licenciatura da Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul (UFFS), Campus Erechim. Centra seus estudos nas seguintes temáticas: formação de professores, políticas educacionais, aprendizagem da docência, docência na educação superior, gestão escolar.
