Letramentos e Afastamento Social no Contexto da Pandemia
O que Pensam os Discentes do Ensino Médio de Escolas Públicas de Belém-Pa?

This paper approaches the literacy processes of students from public high schools in Belém do Pará-Brazil, in view of the social isolation caused by the pandemic of COVID-19, the Coronavirus. The research aims to verify the 52 students' positions on social isolate and to catalog the types of books and audiovisuals that they had access to during this pandemic period. The main questions are: what is the real situation of students in relation to the internet and the use of technology? Are students in this period reading any book? Are they watching videos? It is a survey of information through an electronic form in the googledocs application, carried out in the months of March and April 2020, in which there was an accelerated number of deaths in Belém-PA. The results indicate that the students accepted the new situation of withdrawal, although there is the occurrence of boredom, non-acceptance and family fights. More than half of the students read a book and watched videos, particularly fictional books and films.
