This research covers the frontiers of science education, art and the training of teachers in the field of biology. The manuscript analyzes the contributions of a pedagogical activity in the science-art interface developed in a discipline of a degree course in Biological Sciences in Brazil. The method used in the research is of a qualitative basis, using narratives planned for research, being analyzed through objective hermeneutics. The pedagogical proposal, called photofabulography, involves different expressions, such as, for example, photography, literary text, socialization and production of narratives. Through an examination of materials produced and the narratives of a group of twelve students, the results indicate that the group realized that the activity can also be applied in schools of basic education, which added a sensitive connotation to the teaching of biology and left contributions to the construction of the teaching identity of the members of the group.
