This article discusses a didactic-methodological provocation to the teaching/learning process in linguistic and literary studies, based on the work Capitães da Areia, by the writer Jorge Amado. Motivated by (trans) formations in the educational scenario experienced during the challenges imposed by emergency remote teaching, in the southern region of the state of Maranhão, Northeastern Brazil, the teachers and researchers, authors of the research, present a transdisciplinary proposal to the pedagogical work, based on the knowledge of anthroponymy and literature, aiming to bring the socio-cultural universe of students closer to appropriate, responsive and critical uses of digital information and communication technologies (TDIC). In this sense, a bibliographical and documentary research was developed, under the qualitative approach, which demonstrated the feasibility of teaching/learning in linguistic and literary studies in the production of student memorials, systematized in e-book, built on the digital platform Canva. We argue, therefore, that the aforementioned proposal is a solution and creative action in the educational field in the face of the post-pandemic.
