This article focuses on the rights to protection, provision and participation, in order to understand the way in which these rights are guaranteed in situations of violence against children. Ethical listening is understood as a fundamental instrument for guaranteeing these rights and as a basic condition for children's citizenship. The research sought to understand the way in which listening to children in situations of violence is presented in three parameters: UNICEF, Listening in academic productions and Ethical listening in research on violence. To this end, bibliographical and documentary research was carried out, considering academic platforms and publications from international organizations such as UNICEF. The results show us that listening is still carried out in a rudimentary way and protocoled mainly by Resolutions in the health area and that research that dialogues with the area of human sciences has not yet adhered to the Resolutions that deal with ethics, care and other aspects culminate in ethical listening with children.
