This investigation aims to explore adolescents' perception of parenting educational styles and family functioning. The sample consisted of 365 participants, 213 female and 152 male, aged between 15 and 20 years. The instruments used were the Parenting Educational Styles Questionnaires (QEEP) and the Systemic Clinical Outcome and Routine Evaluation (SCORE-15). Pearson's correlations were performed, as well as multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), in order to analyze the differences according to sociodemographic variables. The results indicated that adolescents with mothers aged between 46 and 60 years perceive them as more responsive. It was also possible to observe responsiveness and demand as negative predictors of family resources, similar to communication within the family.
