Programas e Experiências de Empregabilidade do Ensino Superior
Uma Análise Comparada de Itália, Nigéria e Palestina

A empregabilidade de jovens licenciados tem vindo a ganhar cada vez mais importância no mundo de trabalho do século XXI. Todos os anos, as instituições de ensino superior (HE) produzem milhões de licenciados para o mercado de trabalho, mas, ao mesmo tempo, os empregadores realçam a sua falta de competências exigidas para sustentarem oportunidades de empregabilidade. A literatura ilustra amplamente a importância dos programas de empregabilidade no apoio à ligação entre estes dois lados ao longo do processo educacional. Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma análise comparada sobre os programas de empregabilidade de instituições IE na Itália, na Nigéria e na Palestina e de como estes programas promovem competências para o desenvolvimento da carreira, em jovens adultos. A análise realça diferentes origens e graus de estruturação dos programas para reduzir o desemprego juvenil. Mesmo assim, observa-se um traço comum na forte sinergia com as partes interessadas no desenvolvimento e organização de programas de modo a responder às exigências do mercado laboral e às aspirações dos próprios estudantes.
