Uma Abordagem Praxiológica da Investigação Sobre o Tempo no Campo da Educação de Adultos

Resumo

O tempo não é meramente uma condição fundamental para a prática social; ao invés, temporalidades específicas emergem dentro e através da prática social e isto, claro, também se aplica à prática social na educação e aprendizagem de adultos. Este artigo coloca a questão metodológica de como estas temporalidades educacionais se podem analisar empiricamente, particularmente em cursos de educação de adultos. Para este efeito, começa-se por discutir uma perspetiva praxiológica, especialmente a análise de campos sociais, enquanto base conceptual e analítica para investigar o tempo na educação de adultos. Refere-se de seguida ao discurso sobre tempografia organizacional, oferece-se uma heurística de assuntos relacionados com tempo, a serem investigados. Por fim, argumenta-se que um conjunto de métodos etnográficos de investigação é particularmente promissor para tal tarefa. No entrelaçamento das três perspetivas, será apresentado um enquadramento metodológico para investigar temporalidades na educação de adultos.
