As a methodological design, the qualitative, transversal, and exploratory method was used. Eight female teachers, from early years of elementary school, participated in a public school in the northern region of Rio Grande do Sul (RS). Data were extracted through a sociodemographic questionnaire, individual semi-structured interviews, and five vignettes that elucidated practical classroom situations. The data were transcribed and analyzed through the thematic analysis. As a results, it was evidenced that the teachers attributed several aspects as influencers in the teaching and learning process, among them: aspects related to the students (personal issues such as motivation, learning conditions, emotional conditions, family support), aspects related to the theachers (emotional conditions, didactic management, relationship with students, aspects related to the training process), and aspects related to the school system (infrastructure, didactic resources, relationship between management team and teachers, organization of the school system in general).
