Abstract

This article brings a research carried out with teachers who work in the public network of the State of Paraná - Brazil. Our research question was based on what impact factors teachers perceived when developing their activities in a remote format during the pandemic period. We carried out a qualitative research with 218 teachers through a structured questionnaire on google forms that had the general objective of analyzing the perceptions of teachers in relation to activities developed in remote education in the first semester of 2020. We chose to highlight and analyze for this article the teachers' perceptions linked to: face-to-face and online classes and the need for continuing education. We conclude that not only did the impacts emerge in relation to the components of the understanding of their face-to-face and remote classes, but also the need for their continued education. Teachers of the State of Paraná, when making an effort to follow new paths in that period, were aware of the impacts related to their work, such as: the search for quality, the search for equity, the valuation of the human being, consideration of the best methodology to use technologies, as well as the need to create networks of dialogues in cyberculture.
