DESCRIPTION AND ANALYSIS OF ARTIFACTS AND TOOLS USED ON EDUCATIONAL GAME PRODUCTION

Educational games development requires a multidisciplinary team, with knowledge in different areas (such as pedagogical, programming, design, among others). Additionally, it is necessary to follow some methodologies that have the processes well defined to ensure a good quality of the final product. This paper aims to describe and analyze an educational game production process, focusing on the technology and tools used for game development and their impact on its quality. Thus, according to the stages of AIMED method, since gerency, development to verification and validation processes, it is highlighted the choices and artifacts production and its implication on the project. As a result, it is reported an educational game production, highlighting the positives and negatives aspects of a well done stage of choosing the correct tools and technologies, besides showing artifacts that can be reused on other games development.
