Editorial
Abstract
O presente número da revista Millenium é dedicado exclusivamente à
publicação de artigos no âmbito das ciências da saúde. É, pois, um número temático,
que surge enquadrado nas comemorações dos quarenta anos da Escola Superior de
Saúde de Viseu – ESSV – unidade orgânica do Instituto Politécnico de Viseu.
No âmbito das atividades científicas que assinalaram a data, a escola organizou
e levou a efeito, nos dias 7 e 8 de outubro de 2014, o II World Congress of Health
Research, onde foram apresentados e discutidos mais de três centenas de trabalhos de
investigação, provenientes de quinze países, e que contou com a participação de cerca
de um milhar de conferencistas.
