O Mundo dos Kappas
Abstract
Kappas (K’s de forma abreviada neste texto) é o nome de uma tribo imensa
cujas raízes se perderam no espaço e no tempo. A pouquíssima investigação disponível
sustenta apenas o que é óbvio para qualquer sociedade milenar – que os seus membros
viveriam fundamentalmente da pesca nas margens de grandes rios, da agricultura e do
comércio em terras secas e inférteis. Por razões de natureza política, ou religiosa, ou
ainda por perseguições implacáveis movidas por clãs poderosos e intolerantes que
cresceram no seio da sociedade, os k’s ter-se-ão dispersado em tempos imemorais por
toda a Europa mediterrânica, localizando-se nas suas extremidades meridionais as
maiores concentrações da diáspora.
