Operation: Orfeo and Amduat: An Oxygen Machine, the two productions by the Danish Company Hotel Pro Forma that we have chosen to see, allow us to establish, in different ways, correspondence sections that attribute to re al death a path that is always announced in life and to its final blow. At the same time, we are offered a one way ticket, which does not prevent us from walking a non return path – the one of that same death -, except through what inhabits scenic representation and other forms of art. We have called it scenic death, assuming the fact its orientation is mostly set up among the performing arts. This manifestation highlights the place of the body and the body itself as the dwelling-place of our interiority, which starts with the one who forever abandons this world and to whom we always fail to recognize expressiveness.
