The evaluation of gait is a crucial factor in measuring postoperative outcomes of Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA). Total Knee Arthroplasty is a surgical option intended for patients with advanced stages of knee joint degeneration. The aim of this study was to assess motor coordination asymmetries in the gait of an elderly individual with TKA. The participant, a 68-year-old male, underwent a single gait session during which gyroscope data was captured using the Phyphox application. Data processing was performed in Microsoft Excel. Through the analysis of smoothness and dispersion of lines, the results revealed that, among various planes, the sagittal plane exhibited the best motor coordination. Additionally, a lower external rotation of the lower limb subjected to TKA was observed. Based on the results and to mitigate the identified asymmetries, it is recommended that the participant engage in muscle strengthening and proprioception exercises.
