Training 2023 | Systematic Literature Review

The “Systematic Literature Review” training, organized by FINISTERRA, aims to be a theoretical-practical learning space for the development of skills for the preparation and analysis of Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR).

Program:

  1. Systematic review and narrative review: characteristics and differences;
  2. Brief history of SLR and potential for the method in meta-analysis;
  3. Step by step in SLR;
  4. Use of the PRISMA tool;
  5. Practical activity.

 

Biographical Summary

Carlos Barros. Integrated Researcher at the Research Center for Communication and Culture of the Portuguese Catholic University, being a Post-Doctoral Fellow. Lecturer at the Católica Doctoral School and, simultaneously, in the training of executives at the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics.

Carlos is an External Expert in the evaluation of Science and Technology projects at COST - European Cooperation in Science and Technology, representative on the management committee of the international action TraFaDy - Transnational Family Dynamics in Europe, being Co-Leader of the Health and Wellbeing Group (from 2022 to 2026).

Since the end of 2022, he has been a researcher in the international project ProPege - A Drone to Promote Equality on Political and Economic Decision Making, which results from the support of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Program (CERV) of the European Union.

PhD in Psychology, specialized in Social Psychology (2021), through the Migrations Program of the University of Lisbon, committed to the themes of digital connection between generations, intergenerational solidarity in families with migrants, interdisciplinary qualitative methods and conflict management between countries and generations.
