Emergency Remote Learning (ERE) became a reality for most students in the Federal District (DF) of Brazil and lasted until the end of the first semester of 2021, when the gradual return to face-to-face teaching and learning began in DF, which in our evaluation had a significant impact on classroom relations and learning mediation. Added to this, we realize that coexistence based on respect and solidarity has been something increasingly challenging in our society, because the collective interests have been gradually replaced by individualistic standards, being aggravated after the isolation period due to the pandemic caused by the Coronavirus. This article aims to narrate, through an experience report, pedagogical workshops anchored in Education in and for Human Rights, as well as in the construction of a culture of peace. The workshops were held at a public school of the Final Years of Elementary Education of the Secretariat of Education of the Federal District during the first semester of 2022 and were conducted by the Educational Guidance Service and the Learning Support Specialized Team in order to promote at school a favorable space for the convergence of singularities, with respect, without violence and intolerance (whether racial, gender, religious or of any other kind), in response to the request of teachers faced with the difficulty of resolving the various conflicts in the classroom. The work showed the need to establish dialogic channels between teachers and students, maintaining spaces for listening to the students and using contextualized strategies and activities.
