NEW PERSPECTIVES OF THE CURRICULUM FOR TRAINING VISUAL ARTS TEACHERS

The issue of curriculum in the training of Visual Arts teachers continues to raise several questions today. Thus, this article seeks to analyze the current perspectives of the curriculum in the training of Visual Arts teachers and identify possible improvements that promote a more effective approach aligned with the contemporary needs of art education. Assuming the purpose of contributing to reflection through a qualitative methodology on “how to improve the curriculum of Visual Arts teacher training to make it more effective and relevant to the current demands of art education?”, it is desired, albeit simply, to contribute to the evolution of the training curriculum that, gradually, is adapted to its context and time.
The importance of this article lies in its contribution to the improvement and evolution of the Visual Arts teacher training curriculum, positively impacting the quality of Visual Arts education.
