Abordagem sistematizada do enfermeiro na sala de emergência à pessoa com traumatismo crânio-encefálico: revisão sistemática da literatura

Introdução: A fase aguda do Traumatismo Crânio-encefálico [TCE] compreende intervenções para resolver ameaças potencialmente ameaçadoras de vida e para mitigar a progressão da lesão cerebral secundária, desta forma, a coordenação de toda a atuação deve centrar-se em razão do fator tempo.
Objetivo: Identificar a necessidade de uma abordagem sistematizada do enfermeiro na sala de emergência na prevenção da lesão cerebral secundária à pessoa com TCE.
Métodos: A Revisão Sistemática da Literatura seguiu a metodologia do Joanna Briggs Institute. Foram incluídos estudos quantitativos e qualitativos que contemplassem os diagnósticos e as intervenções durante a fase aguda do TCE. A pesquisa foi realizada nas bases de dados EBSCO e B-On (2018 – 2023).
Resultados: Foram incluídos 12 artigos. Todos permitiram afirmar que a uniformização dos cuidados de enfermagem à pessoa com TCE acarreta outputs significativos para resolução de complicações à pessoa em fase aguda do TCE. Reconhecer os sinais e sintomas fisiopatológicos ou neurológicos permite uma maior exatidão nos cuidados de saúde prestados.
Conclusão: A monitorização hemodinâmica e a vigilância neurológica realizada pelos enfermeiros denotam-se cruciais. A sistematização da prática auxilia a identificação e o tratamento precoce da lesão cerebral secundária, atenuando as complicações após TCE.
