Resumen

Introducción: El número de personas mayores que viven con el VIH ha aumentado a nivel mundial, lo que plantea nuevos desafíos para los sistemas de salud, muchas veces caracterizados por enfoques fragmentados. Las intervenciones de enfermería son estratégicas para promover la gestión de la salud de estas personas.

Objetivo: Mapear la evidencia sobre intervenciones de enfermería que promuevan la gestión de la salud de personas mayores que viven con el VIH.

Métodos: Revisión scoping concluida en abril de 2025, desarrollada según las recomendaciones del Joanna Briggs Institute. La búsqueda se realizó en CINAHL Complete y MEDLINE Complete. Se consideraron estudios primarios y secundarios que incluyeran intervenciones dirigidas a la gestión de la salud de personas mayores que viven con el VIH. Se incluyeron estudios redactados en portugués, inglés y español, sin límite temporal.

Resultados: Se incluyeron cinco artículos, publicados entre 2011 y 2019. Las intervenciones identificadas se agruparon en tres categorías: evaluación individualizada; capacitación para la autogestión y promoción de la participación en la toma de decisiones en salud.

Conclusión: Se recomienda el desarrollo de intervenciones individualizadas, así como estudios en contextos con escasos recursos, que abarquen todas las fases de la infección y sean representativos de todas las poblaciones clave.
