The book reviewed presents the results of a research about school failure and early school leaving. From a qualitative gives voice to adolescent and young who experience it, and consider the various elements and dimensions from the perspective of intersectionality. The authors contend that public education should promote justice and solidarity but also warn that inequality can be developed with democracy.
The book can be useful to researchers, but also to other audiences as secondary school teachers or students. The cases can be used in courses on methodology of educational research.
