Elisabete Mileu had a unique trajectory in the art of Portuguese performance, having participated in almost all the events/cycles/festivals/biennials of this artistic genre that happened between the years 1980 and 1990 in Portugal and also internationally, in countries like Spain, France, Canada, Austria. This expressive representation of her work contrasts, paradoxically, with the lack of documentation we have of her performances: only some records, especially photographic, fragmentary and scattered in catalogs and reviews. From the analysis of these records, or the absence of them, we will try to analyze the value of “exposition” and “cult” of their performances where the exposure of their naked body stands out.
