Abstract

Hotel Pro Forma is an essential player within the European contemporary performing arts. The company was established in 1985 by its current artistic director, Kirsten Dehlholm. Hotel Pro Forma is based in Copenhagen and works around the world. It is well known for its visual performance and musical theatre work, which challenges perspective and the spectator’s perception. The work stands out as an ongoing inve stigation of the different elements in a theatre performance: text, light, sound, space and dramaturgy. It is also an investigation of the world.
