Abstract

The current demographic changes, are translate in the modification and inversion of the age pyramids, reflecting the aging of the population and posing to society in general, and particularly to health, challenges for which they were not prepared. The aim of this article is to analyze the experience carried out within the scope of the Community Nursing internship. The methodological path followed the stages of health planning and a Scoping Review with the question: Which are the nursing interventions that promote the integration of the elderly in intergenerational activities? In support of the community nursing practice, Betty Neuman's systemic model was mobilized. The Lives with History Project showed that intergenerational activities, with children and the elderly, are one of the valid hypotheses and must be taken into account, for the appreciation of older people and, consequently, for the development of societies in order to make them more cohesive and solidary.
