El estudio de las ciudades en la actualidad implica distintos tipos de desafíos analíticos, uno es cómo dar cuenta de la polarización y profundización de las divisiones sociales del espacio urbano. Para ello, se propone considerar el análisis diacrónico de las fronteras materiales y simbólicas dentro de la ciudad como una clave para comprender la génesis y derivaciones de estos procesos. Este abordaje involucra un íntimo diálogo con los modos de expansión urbana, con especial énfasis en el accionar estatal, desde distintas escalas y momentos históricos. El estudio de caso es la localidad patagónica de San Carlos de Bariloche. La estrategia metodológica busca reconstruir las distintas fronteras que marcaron a esta ciudad en el tiempo y desde distintas escalas; a partir de la triangulación de fuentes diversas. Desde una perspectiva que pondera la mirada geo-histórica, se busca hacer foco en las huellas, más o menos visibles, que deja el crecimiento de la ciudad, reconociendo cómo las improntas del pasado han definido, desde una lógica hegemónica, sectores del espacio y de la sociedad más o menos legítimos sobre los que operan distintas dimensiones de las desigualdades socio-territoriales.Downloads

Finisterra uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS 3.2.1.4), a free and open-source software for journal management and publication, developed and distributed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) under the GNU General Public License. PKP is a multi-university initiative that develops open-source software and conducts research to improve the quality and reach of scholarly publishing. OJS includes the PKP PN plugin, a means of digitally preserving journal content in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which ensures long-term access to OJS journal content.
