Este artigo procura fazer uma reflexão sobre os desafios, fundamentos e dilemas do urbanista na construção de uma praxis urbanística no complexocontexto da cidade alargada. Num primeiro momento, abordamos sumariamente agestão urbanística nas suas práticas, instrumentos e desajustes funcionais, reflectindosobre o fundamento ético da acção do urbanista. Num segundo momento, abordamos a identidade sistémica do espaço urbano, e a necessidade em reavaliar os padrõesde legibilidade do urbanista sobre os factores base de construção dessa identidade,nomeadamente, os limites, as dinâmicas e as tensões, na procura de um vínculo auma praxis urbanística perceptiva e operativa.Downloads
