PORTUGAL IN GEOGRAPHY BOOKS FOR THE YOUNG IN THE 18TH CENTURYAND EARLY 19TH CENTURY. It is a little known fact but since the 18th century a small number of young people in most European countries have had access to many books on geography. What is Portugal’s position in this type of literature? What image do the authors want to give children through their texts and illustrations? This note seeks to find answers to these questions.Downloads
